Hunting helps to develop positive life skills such as discipline, patience, learning to deal with changes, and accepting disappointment. Hunting can help promote a physically-active lifestyle by getting kids off the couch and into the outdoors... as well as filling the freezer!

This weekends youth hunt at Thumbtack Ranch! The boys were from Sugarland, Odessa, and Marion, TX.

HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!

Earlier this month, employees and families were invited to gather at Quail Ranch in Crane, Texas to participate in the annual Quail Ranch Trail Run. Fueled with coffee from Shipley’s Donuts and breakfast burritos from Mac’s BBQ, 48 participants either walked the 2K or ran the 5K or 10K trails toward the finish line.

During the event, race participants and volunteers had the opportunity to learn about Trinity Oaks Outdoors, the local nonprofit highlighted during this year’s event. The Permian Basin Chapter for Trinity Oaks Outdoors was established to bring mentorship and inspirational opportunities to underprivileged youth, veterans and special needs children through various once-in-a-lifetime outdoor activities. John Stewart, ConocoPhillips HSE Field Lead and Vice President for the Trinity Oaks Outdoors Permian Basin Chapter along with the chapter’s Director of Fundraising accepted our $10,000 donation on behalf of the organization.
