Lt. Paul Silber Award | Bobby Cornelison Spirit of Service Award
LT. PAUL SILBER AWARD
The award recognizes the outstanding achievement in the areas of service to our country, philanthropy, and will recognize a community member who leads by example to fulfill the mission of Trinity Oaks Outdoors. Although the recipient’s life must reflect the values of Trinity Oaks Outdoors, they do not need to have been a participant, volunteer, or previously affiliated with the organization’s programs or services.
Recipients must have served in a live combat zone. The recipients illustrate their connection to veterans returning home and understand the hardships and sacrifices of active duty deployment. Trinity Oaks Outdoors wants to honor the process and give hope to those recently returning home. Please provide a narrative of overcoming the struggles of fighting in war and returning back into civilian life.
The award winner will demonstrate consistent volunteerism and service within their community. Participation in a leadership role within a volunteer situation will be given more weight. Please include example of the nominee’s philanthropic nature including examples and references.
Appreciation of nature and a healthy respect for the bounties of our world are necessary traits for the recipient of this award. Support of a conservation or other natural resource-focused organization is highly sought after.
The recipient of the Lt. Paul Silber Award does not have to be affiliated with Trinity Oaks Outdoors, but they must demonstrate their personal beliefs are aligned with those of the organization including a respect for nature, participation in our outdoor heritage, as well as an appreciation for God and our great country.
