Denny McMahan

ABOUT Denny

My husband Dennis was in LE for 33 years and 3 years in the US Army, during Vietnam.
Denny was hit head-on by a drunk driver while working and it severed his temporal and carotid arteries. He died and went to heaven. He saw Jesus and people below, but he was returned to us, and 33 surgeries since.
Then in 2020 he caught covid while working and was in a coma for 6 months.
He coded three times and when he woke up, he couldn’t talk, walk, sit, eat, or hear, and in a strange hospital.
The first hospital he was in, the damns broke in Sanford Mich, and flooded his room the water destroyed the town of Sanford. He was taken to another hospital where he coded.

As of today, he can’t walk too far without resting. His lungs and hearing are damaged.
When undercover for the FBI in drug work he received a plaque for Director Sessions.

As a team leader, he has done charity work for Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run for 18 years.
Although it’s hard for him, he really wants to hunt. He is still going through treatments, but he is a fighter.

He has given his life in the Army and police work and now teaches at the police academy.
Denny is a true hero to many in the community as he sacrifices his life and well-being asking for nothing back.
