ABOUT Jennifer
I would like to nominate my wife, Jennifer Brooks. She served in the Army for 11 years and is currently a first responder as an Air Medical Pilot. Jennifer was a Blackhawk helicopter pilot and instructor pilot in the Army. She served two tours in Iraq equaling 27 months. She flew multiple missions in Iraq to include flying troops to different forward operating bases, Generals and VIPs, air assault missions to insert troops. She received the Army Air Medal multiple times, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Iraq Campaign Medal with campaign star for her deployments. Jennifer was honorably discharged from the Army and then became an Air Medical Pilot. She is still flying air medical and has been for 11 years. She flys single pilot in a Bell 407 helicopter. She flys a medical team to pick up patients that need to be taken to a hospital quickly and that require specific medical attention. She will land in the middle of a road, open fields, hospital pads to pick up patients. Jennifer is also the lead pilot. She has been a lead pilot for over 9 years. She manages all the other pilots and is the expert pilot that oversees the aviation side of air medical at her base. She somehow finds the time to continue to workout and be in great shape to better serve her community and be able to do anything and everything with us. Jennifer is very deserving of Bucks for the Brave. She is the most incredible, talented, selfless person I know. She has a huge heart and is so giving. She is an amazing mother to our three children and an incredible wife. She is such an inspiration. She works hard to make our house and life the best it can be. She enjoys making the most memories possible with us and doing the best to raise our kids. Our life is so much better with her in it.
