THUMBTACK RANCH
Thumbtack Ranch is located just 1.5 hours outside of San Antonio, making it accessible for weeklong overnight stays or daytime events for those travelling to and from the city. Complete with over 2,000 acres available to hunt and fish and its existing structures for events and lodging, Thumbtack Ranch is the ideal destination for many of our programs. From duck to quails, hogs to javelinas, and exotics to whitetails, Thumbtack Ranch has it all – year round!
A staggering 96% of Texas land is privately owned, making access for hunting and fishing opportunities, a unique problem in Texas for lower income households. To ensure our passions for the outdoors is shared with others all Trinity Oaks Outdoors’ programs are free of charge.
Three quarters of Texas youth spend less than 10 hours a week outside. The majority is in structured environments, as opposed to in wild places. The developmental well-being of the next generation is depended on allowing free access to places like Thumbtack Ranch.

Through our “Adopt an Acre” program, you can partner with us to help make Thumbtack Ranch reach its full potential. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to build your legacy and directly impact combat and Purple Heart veterans, youth, and terminally ill people for years to come! For every acre adopted by a donor on behalf of Trinity Oaks, you will receive a chance annually to win the trophy hunt of your choice on Thumbtack Ranch.
